3 Reasons To Try L.A. Girls Glazed Lip Paints

Hey loves! I know I may be a little tardy for the party on this beauty product, but I just had to share how much I love L.A. Girls Glazed Lip Paints! I've been pondering over them for quite some time, but because I've been on a serious no-buy (unless I collect empties), I've curved them quite a few times. And let me tell you, I wish I would have grabbed these up sooner.

As you all may be able to tell from several of my posts professing my undying love for lipsticks (especially mattes), I am not big on lip gloss collections. But with the variety of shades offered in these "lip paints," I knew I had to give them a try. And knowing what I know now, I'm here to tell you guys why you should try them too if you haven't already.

As mentioned on the LA Girl USA website, Glazed Lip Paints are meant to give the "intensely pigmented look of a lipstick with the ease and glossy finish of a lipgloss." And just as the site claims, the lip paint gives me just the right amount of intensity and glossiness.

Here are three reasons why you MUST add these lip paints to your collection (if you haven't already).

1. Pigmentation. L.A. Girls Glazed Paints are some of the most pigmented lip products I have ever tried. They pack such a vibrant, bold punch with each swatch. This is something I look for in lip glosses, as I don't want to have to apply it several times to get full bodied color on my lips. With these, you get a burst of color---void of heavy stickiness.

2.Affordability. With the great quality and color payoff of these lip paints, one would think they were high-end lippies! But that is totally not the case. You can get these drug store lippies for anywhere from $1.99-$3.99. They are usually cheaper in-store at beauty supply stores than they are online. But $3.99 is still a very reasonable price for a lip gloss of this quality. So keep those things in mind when you're out on the hunt for these.

3. Color Variation---These lip paints come in a wide variety of colors. This means there is a shade (or two or ten) for everybody! There are currently 18 shades available in stores and online. With such a large selection to choose from, I'm sure everyone will find shades to suit their personal tastes.

One warning I will give about the L.A. Girls Glazed Lip Paints, is that I'm not a fan of the applicator. I feel like too much product runs out of the tip when the tube is squeezed. And there is no brush in the tip to provide a barrier or to keep the gloss from dispensing too much product.

For best performance, I suggest applying this product with a lip brush (or perhaps even your finger). Applying it directly from the tube may be a bit messy. And though some might look at the application is a dealbreaker, I did not. For the low price I paid for mine, I feel like the purchase is justified.

These four lip paints are my favorites from the bunch.

Bombshell- vibrant hot pink (top, left)
Coy- muted violet (top, right)
Seduce- glossy deep fuchsia (bottom, left)
Daring- glossy deep berry/wine (bottom, right)

If you can't find the lip paints at your local beauty supply stores, they are available on many sites online such as. the LA Girls official site, iKatehouse, and All Cosmetics Wholesale. Some of these sites may even have bundles at value prices in case you want to purchase more than one shade.
