Everyday Beauty | The Natural, "No-Makeup" Makeup Look

Hello guys! I hope everyone has been having a beautiful spring so far! This season, I've been looking forward to swapping out my lipsticks and eyeshadow palettes to add bright, vibrant hues to my makeup bag. However, in my realistic everyday life, I don't always take the time to pull these beautiful shades together for an overall beauty look. As someone who spends most of her time in the home, I don't wear a full face of makeup every single day. But I do love throwing on my usual natural makeup look with cat-eye and nude lips just because.

This natural, everyday look gives me just the right touch of coverage I need to feel confident without a heavy application of makeup. Not to mention, it only takes minutes to do!

First, I apply primer to my cleansed and moisturized face. I've been using Pixi by Petra Rose Flash Bomb as a primer and my skin loves how well it masks my large pores (review coming soon).

Then I groom my brows by filling in sparse areas with my Jordana FabuBrow Eyebrow Pencil in Midnight Brown. If I I have extra time, I clean up around my brows with a concealer brush and my MAC Studio Fix concealer. This really helps to define my brows and make them pop, especially if I haven't shaped them.

Next, I apply Mehron Celebre Pro-HD Foundation, paying close attention to my dark spots first. I use my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush to stipple the foundation on lightly to keep the coverage from feeling too heavy on my face. Because it's a full coverage cream foundation, I can use it as a concealer or foundation, depending on how I feel or where I'm going for the day. If you can't get your hands on this foundation, Black Opal Stick foundations are a great substitute. And as the days get warmer, I start replacing the Mehron foundation with my MAC Face & Body Foundation as it's much lighter.

After applying the foundation, I set my it with MAC Mineralized Skinfinish Natural in Dark. And if I happen to run out of it and can't get to the mall, I use Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder.

If I have a few extra minutes, I will add a light highlight and contour from my Black Radiance True Complexion Contour Palette and will completely skip the blush. This keeps my face from looking "flat" as it kind of loses dimension once I applied the foundation.

Next, I create a winged liner with my Ciate Fierce Flicks Liquid Liner. I am not too picky on liquid liners, I just look for those with the most precise applicators. I love the Kat Von D Tattoo liner as well as the Jordana Fabuliner.

Then I coat my lashes with Maybelline Volum' Express Big Shot Mascara x Shayla and (maybe) add a bit of the ColourPop Creme Gel Eyeliner Pencil in Black to the outer corners of my waterline (if I'm feeling extra).

To finish up my look, I swipe an application of Milani Color Statement Lipstick in Rose Femme to my lips. It's the perfect rosy, nude, lips-but-better lipstick for me and the only one that has a permanent place in ALL of my makeup bags, no matter the season.  Believe it or not, this all only takes about ten minutes!
